Self-doubt is a product of our Ego-mind. And it’s where self-sabotage comes from. Our Ego’s job is to protect us from danger, but overthinking situations and creating chaos in the mind sounds pretty dangerous to me.
It’s like being held back by a metaphorical fence. You know you can hop the damn thing, but there’s still that thought of… “what if I fall and break something?” Or “what if people see me and I look stupid?”
What if? What if? What if?
We give “what if” way too much power, in the wrong direction.
Here’s one…what if you could move past self-doubt?
Hahaha I know you saw that coming, but I had to do it. It’s me using the power of “what if” for good.
Use these 4 questions to move past your self-doubt and use your “what-ifs” for outcomes you actually want.
Ask yourself:
- What am I afraid of?
- What am I afraid this fear says about me on a deeper level?
- Why is this not true?
- What possibility am I cutting myself off from if I don’t do this?
Joyfully,
Ashley Christen
